Asking for help is not a weakness, but rather a strength.

Sobriety By the Numbers: Mobile & Online Help - A man in a blue shirt - The Parallax Solution

Gratitude begins with knowing 24/7 telephone hotlines and chat rooms are available. You never have to be or feel alone this holiday season. Often it is the hardest thing to do for an alcoholic and addict to ask for help. No one is going to judge you. Many of them have been right where you are and are donating their time and giving up their holidays to be of service to you. I’ve started the list off with my contact information as a sober recovery and life coach.

If you’re suicidal, I recommend contacting the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline toll-free at 800-273-8255.

Additional crisis and suicide hotlines are available in the category below, Crises and Suicide.
